You'll take the role of a boy named Jack who has to plan and assemble a romantic celebration for the day of love. This game will test your creativity as you prepare different items for the much-awaited party.

The gameplay is similar to the event planning game My City: Wedding Party in which you'll need to decorate the venue and prepare food. What makes Valentine's Day Party Game different is that you don't have to style the characters or invite guests.

Cute and simple gameplay

Valentine's Day Party Game starts with Jack asking his crush Jill to be his Valentine's Day date through a phone call. This part could've been more eventful if there were choices in Jack's dialogue. Unfortunately, the only action you'll do is press the "Send" button after each dialogue between the characters. After which, you'll move on to the next portion of the game.

The succeeding events include other preparations for the date. Each portion includes a short narrative about the game's story and the goal for that section. There are hints to help you know what items you need to grab and where you'll use them. However, there are instances when these clues do not appear, which will leave you confused as to what to do next.

Another downside of this game is that it doesn't save your progress for each portion when you go back to the main menu. Fortunately, you don't have to finish the sections consecutively. That means you can jump from one portion to the next even if you don't meet the goals of the previous sections. Additionally, there are mini-games you can play once you've finished the game.

Easy to start and finish

Overall, this game offers a fun and relaxing experience despite its meager beginning. It gets interesting as you play and each section feels more dynamic than the last. The hints also come in handy, although the fact that they are not always available can be frustrating. Still, its simple gameplay and lovely storyline make this game interesting enough to pick up and play until the end.
